 HEAD COACH - TOM MURPHY
Email - tmurphy(at)ouhockey(dot)com Coach Murphy joins the Sooners after spending ten years coaching in junior hockey throughout the United States. Coach Murphy coached four years in the Eastern Junior Hockey League with the Walpole Stars, winning the EJHL Championship in 2000-2001. Coach Murphy served as an assistant coach for five years with the Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League. Coach Murphy, along with former Texas coach Tony Curtale, was instrumental in guiding the Tornado to back-to-back-to-back NAHL championships from 2003-2004 through 2005-2006. Coach Murphy served as an assistant coach with the NAHL's Wichita Falls Wildcats durign the 2007-2008 before joining the Sooners as Head Coach. Coach Murphy is the proud parent of 10 year old daughter, Peyton, and eight year old son, Jordan.  ASSISTANT COACH/GENERAL MANAGER - LARRY DONOVAN

Coach Donovan has been with the OU Hockey program from its inception, being an Assistant Coach from 2003-2005 and Head Coach from 2005-2008. Originally from Lynn, MA, Coach Donovan has an extensive and varied hockey background as he was a linesman in the Central Hockey League for approximately 10 years and also played a few games in the league during the 1996-1997 season. Since 1996, Coach Donovan has also been the USA Hockey Coaching Coordinator, Rocky Mountain District, for the State of Oklahoma. Coach Donovan and his wife, Kathryn, are proud parents of Katelyn and Matthew.  ASSISTANT COACH - MARK BERGE
Coach Berge is from Grand Forks, ND, and played three and a half seasons of NCAA Division 1 hockey for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1978 NHL Draft before relocating to Oklahoma City. Coach Berge was an assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Blazers of the Central Hockey League from 1992 through 1997. He also played for the CHL Blazers late in the 1992-1993 season and has coached youth hockey in Oklahoma City for over 14 years. Coach Berge brings a wealth of hockey knowledge and coaching experience to the Sooners.
